and welcome back to the park to of extending asp.net MVC using the spark view engine in part one we had looking at how to download register and configure the sparkvue engine for use on the narrow dinner site and in this part Im going to look at replacing some of the views and aspects of use in near dinner from a web forms view into a spark view so Ive picked a very obvious page to try and convert the homepage ie the home controller index view Im going to try and take that from being a web forms rendered view to a spark rendered view now there are a couple of slight complex this year one of which is is based on a master page so we need to do the equivalent and spark to master pages in web forms and also there is a partial view up here rendering this login status so we need to the equivalent of a partial view and web forms in spark as well so lets take a look at how we do those things Here I am in our shared views folder and this is where the site master and the login status
