Im continuing work on my connector project, and in earlier videos I used User Defined Features in order to create my panel cutouts, and also I created a Family Table in a connector. Right now I have the generics of that connector assembled into my model and thats a bad practice. You should never have the generics of a Family Table put into your models, and so Im going to replace a couple of those family table generics with instances from the Family Table. To do that, you can select the connector that you want to replace, and then right mouse click and hold. Since Im doing this in Creo Parametric 2.0, I get this pop-up menu, and from here I can find the Replace command. It automatically recognizes that this particular part is a family Table member and actually the generic. Then I can click the Open button and itll list all the different various instances.
