hello and welcome to cheshire audio now um this could be this could turn out to be quite a long video because um what im going to do is go through some of the cartridges that are fitted to regular turntables i did get quite a lot of old decks in and quite often they got an original cartridge on um i mean they could be dating back to early 80s late 70s even sometimes and i do get asked by customers whats a modern equivalent to this cartridge ive got a you know an older deck and sometimes they dont know what the cartridge is so we might have been on there for 30 40 years um so this im going to go through ive got never to throw anything away so ive got a selection of quite a lot of old cartridges that i just sort of keep to hand so ill be able to show you what they look like and sort of go through timelines and modern equivalents and hopefully thatll be helpful um where i havent got a cartridge ill probably put well ill probably post up pictures anyway because this this camera
