You can access it from the Edit Find Replace menu or by pressing Ctrl-F on the keyboard. You will then see the following dialog: Enter the phrase or word you are looking for and the corresponding one to replace it with if any.
How to convert Excel to CSV UTF-8 In the target worksheet, click File Save As or press the F12 key. In the Save As dialog box, select CSV UTF-8 (comma delimited) (*. csv) from the Save as type drop down. Click the Save button. Done!
In the Region dialog box, on the Formats tab, click Additional settings In the Customize Format dialog box, on the Numbers tab, type the character you want to use as the default CSV delimiter in the List separator box. For this change to work, the List separator should not be the same as Decimal symbol.
Open your . CSV file with a text editor and check the bottom of the window for the encoding. If the encoding is not set as UTF-8, find the encoding controls in the text editor.
How Do I Encode My CSV File Using the UTF-8 Format? Open your CSV file in Notepad. Click File in the top-left corner of your screen. Click Save as In the dialog which appears, select the following options: In the Save as type drop-down, select All Files. In the Encoding drop-down, select UTF-8. Click Save.
Under the Data tab, navigate to Get External Data From Text. In the pop-up window that opens, select the CSV file you downloaded. Click Get Data. From the File origin: drop-down menu, select Unicode (UTF-8).
Name your file, select CSV file type, and click Tools Web Options below. Go to the Encoding tab, In the dropdown for Save this document as: choose Unicode (UTF-8) and click OK. The file is saved. Now we import it and see that the text is displayed correctly.
Change your settings within Excel to resolve this issue. In Excel, navigate to Data Import External Data Import Data/Import From Text and choose 65001 Unicode (UTF-8). Save your settings then re-open your file to confirm that special characters are displayed correctly.
