were in Word 2019 Im going to show you how to fix sentence case with just a neat trick Im gonna click on the word great Im going to add a capital letter there and another one under the word fix Ill add a cap a letter there lets see as were proofing our document that we see some sentences that should not have uppercase letters so what we can do is we can just go anywhere on that word we can highlight the word or we can just click anywhere in the word it doesnt matter and we go up to in the Home tab this little button that says change case and then we click on sentence case so watch what happens to the word great when I click on this and we see it goes down to a lower G now lets choose the word fix well just highlight the whole word and well do the same thing sentence case very good all right now lets go to the word this now this is a word that should be capitalized well click on a sentence case one more time and this one doesnt change because its supposed to be capitalize
