While working on Word we often face a problem. Many times we want to send a proposal to a new customer. We remember that we have already sent a similar proposal to an existing customer. We open the original file, save it as a new file and search replace the name of the customer. Sometimes the name of the old customer remains and that can create a lot of trouble for you. Here is a brilliant way of using a very nice feature of Word called Fields, so that you never have that particular problem. Instead of manually typing the name of the customer every time what you should do is create a field. Open File menu - Info - Properties - Advanced Properties - the last tab allows you to create custom fields. Im going to create the field called customer name and type the name of one of the customers and just click add. Assume this was your sales proposal. Make sure the bonus is doled out equally to every employee in your organization. Every employee should receive something, preferably the same as everyone else. This can go a long way in improving morale and making employees feel valued.
How to write a bonus letter Address the letter. In the beginning of the letter, label and address it like you start any correspondence with your team. Announce the bonus. After you address your recipient, try to immediately explain why youre writing them a letter. Give details. Congratulate them. End the letter.
In the United States of America, the average Christmas bonus is estimated to be 1,900 dollars. There are no regulations in place for companies, though, so they could pay nothing, they could pay 100 dollars, or they could pay 5,000 dollars.
There is no set amount for bonuses in the United States, as they can vary widely depending on the industry, the size of the company, and the employees job title and performance. Bonuses can range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars or more, depending on the circumstances.
It is commonly assumed to expect somewhere between two percent and five percent of your salary. Any less than that could make people think about finding a new role, while any more should cause a lot of happiness.
For example, you can do a gift basket with company swag or based on a theme. You can give your employees a nice box of chocolatey goodness. Or your non-cash gift can be tied to a charity. For more options, check out our article on Christmas Gift Ideas.
There are no legal obligations for employers to pay their staff a Christmas bonus. However, many businesses choose to do so as a way of showing their appreciation for their employees hard work throughout the year. Whether or not an employer pays a Christmas bonus is entirely up to them.
