Students, faculty, and staff are required to provide their full legal name at the time of admission or hiring. To change the legal name on your academic records, submit legal documentation to the Office of the University Registrar.
Students can use their HUB Student Center to update their address information. Step 1: Select PROFILE tile. Step 2: Select Addresses from the menu. Step 3: Click the plus (+) button to add a new address to one of the available categories. Step 4: To edit an address, click on the address you want to change.

Students are able to update their address or phone number through myRider by selecting View/Update Personal Information. Once submitted, the information is changed in the campus-wide student data system.
Fill out your Driver License or Identification Card Change of Address application at home and then submit it in one of two ways: Mail it to: ALEA (Alabama Law Enforcement Agency) Licensing Services Division, P.O. Box 1471, Montgomery AL, 36102-1471. Drop it off at any ALEA driver license office.
Current students may update their address and contact information by accessing myBama and selecting the Student page. In the Academic and Student Services cannel, click Personal Information then Update Personal Information.
To change or correct the listing for your college advisor, go to your college deans office or your colleges advising center and complete a College-Degree-Major-advisor Change Form (CDMA) .
Updates to all personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses can be done anytime using MyRED, or in person at the Office of the University Registrar, 107 Canfield Administration Building South during regular business hours.
