Revert a Published Post to a Draft Open the post in the editor. On the right side of the page in the publish box, click the Edit button next to the post status. In the drop down menu select Draft and press OK. Press the Update button and the post will now be a draft again and no longer published.
Go to My Site and then scroll down to WP Admin (found at the bottom of the left side of the screen). From there, click posts on the left side of the screen. Up at the very top, you should see a draft category. After you click on it, you can edit the draft there.
Tap at the top. To the right of Drafts, tap Manage. Tap Edit in the top right.
Once a post has been published, you can switch it back to a draft so that it is no longer visible on your website. Simply click the Switch to draft button at the top of the WordPress editor.
Is there any way to put it back to draft unpublished status? In the wordpress dashboard, go to Posts All Posts. Place the mouse cursor on the post to be edited. Select Quick Edit, on the status section, change the status from published to draft and press update.
Revert a published or scheduled post to draft state, which removes the post from the publicly viewable content.
You can unpublish a post that you want to remove from your blog by reverting it to Draft status. This way, the content is still available for you to refer to, or republish in the future.
Once a post has been published, you can switch it back to a draft so that it is no longer visible on your website. Simply click the Switch to draft button at the top of the WordPress editor.
