First off, what is Microsoft Bookings? Well, Microsoft Bookings allows customers to schedule time or appointments with small businesses. So, imagine that maybe youre a dentist, youre a piano teacher, youre a hairdresser, maybe youre a gym trainer. In all of those cases, you have customers who want to schedule time with you. So Bookings sets up a page where a customer can come in, they could choose a service that they want, they could choose the time when they want the service, and then Bookings will go ahead and schedule that appointment on behalf of the customer. From here, you can change the status in two ways: From the Feed tab, click the Change Status Chatter action and select a status. Only status values that are permitted in your service appointment life cycle settings are shown.
Salesforce Scheduler (formerly known as Lightning Scheduler) gives you the tools you need to simplify appointment scheduling in Salesforce. Create a personalized experience by scheduling customer appointmentsin person, or by phone or videowith the right person at the right place and time.
Schedule an Outbound Appointment in Salesforce Scheduler Open the account, person account, case, lead, or opportunity record that you want to schedule an appointment with. On the record page, click Schedule Appointment. Select an attendee (service resource) for the appointment, and then click Next.
On the Service Appointments tab, click the service appointment that you want to cancel. On the record page, click the Cancel Service Appointment quick action. From Cancellation Status, select Canceled. Optionally, enter a reason for canceling the appointment.
Modify an Outbound Appointment in Salesforce Scheduler On the Service Appointments tab, click the service appointment that you want to modify. On the record page, click the Modify Service Appointment quick action. Select a new time slot. Review your service appointment details, click Next, and then click Finish.
To create an appointment or a recurring appointment on the Service Calendar, on the nav bar, go to Service Service Calendar. To create an appointment or recurring appointment in the Activities area, on the nav bar, go to Sales Activities. On the command bar, select Appointment.
