hey guys how to hide some parts of a confidential account number or credit card or maybe a contact number so we can use replace function for this and then replace function requires old text then from where you want to replace so here starting from 6th character we want to replace and how many characters you want to replace 9 characters and what do you want to replace it with and we will type this in place of the original number close the bracket and press enter

From the Home tab, click the Replace command. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+H on your keyboard. The Find and Replace dialog box will appear.
Find and replace basic text , type the word or phrase that you want to find, and Word will highlight all instances of the word or phrase throughout the document. To replace found text: Select the magnifying glass, and then select Replace. In the Replace With box, type the replacement text.
Select View Navigation Pane. In the Navigation Pane, select the magnifying glass. , and then select Advanced Find Replace. At the top of the Find and Replace dialog box, select Replace and then select in the Find What box, but dont type anything there.
