While working on Word we often face a problem. Many times we want to send a proposal to a new customer. We remember that we have already sent a similar proposal to an existing customer. We open the original file, save it as a new file and search replace the name of the customer. Sometimes the name of the old customer remains and that can create a lot of trouble for you. Here is a brilliant way of using a very nice feature of Word called Fields, so that you never have that particular problem. Instead of manually typing the name of the customer every time what you should do is create a field. Open File menu - Info - Properties - Advanced Properties - the last tab allows you to create custom fields. Im going to create the field called customer name and type the name of one of the customers and just click add. Assume this was your sales proposal. Anytime you need the name of the customer go to this Insert - Quick Parts - Fields. There are a lot of fields, dont get worried. Choose one of

If you do not have a Social Security Number (SSN) enter your Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN). If you do not have an SSN or ITIN leave the entry field blank.

Timely completion of the I-9 form and submission to E-Verify is more important than you might think. It pays to understand all E-Verify deadlines, but the E-Verify Three Day Rule is especially important. Failure to complete the form and verify ing to law and the MoU has resulted in substantial fines to employers.
To correct multiple, recording errors on the form, you may redo the section on a new Form I-9 and attach it to the old form. A new Form I-9 can also be completed if major errors (such as entire sections being left blank or Section 2 being completed based on unacceptable documents) need to be corrected.
Employers who choose to keep paper copies of the documents their employees present may store them with the employees Form I-9 or with the employees records. However, USCIS recommends that employers keep Form I-9 separate from personnel records to facilitate an inspection request.
An Employer can complete an I-9 without the Employees Social Security Number. However, the I-9 will be returned as a SSN Applied For with the status of The current I-9 is not eligible for verification through E-Verify.
