A distinctive sign (* symbol, mandatory mention, etc.) must be provided in the label of each mandatory field. If a symbol is used to declare mandatory fields, a statement placed at the beginning of the form must indicate that the symbol stands for a mandatory field.
As shown in the following screenshot, the mandatory fields are Customer account, Name, Customer group, and Country/region. You can either save the entered information and complete it afterwards, or go directly to a Customer form or transaction form, whether Sales quotation, Project quotation, and/or Sales order.
Example 1. A salesperson fills out order forms for a customer. The company ships orders directly to customers, so a shipping address is required. The salesperson sees the field in bold.

Most of these forms have required fields which means the user must fill these fields in order to submit the form successfully.

To eliminate the Company field requirement on Leads Go to Setup | Customize | Leads | Page Layouts. Click Edit next to the Page Layout name. Click on the wrench icon for the Company field. Deselect the Required checkbox and click OK. Save the Layout.
Follow the steps below. Go to Settings -- Customizations. Click Customize the System. Under Components, expand Entities, and then expand the entity you want. Click Fields. Select the field you want to remove from the form (which is Business Required) Change the Field Requirement from Business Required to Optional.
