I all right sometimes when youamp;#39;re working in Excel you need to replace certain words throughout the spreadsheet with other words this could be for various reasons whether you just think thereamp;#39;s a better word to express what youamp;#39;re trying to say or if youamp;#39;re using a function of looking for a certain word and itamp;#39;s not the word thatamp;#39;s used throughout the spreadsheet or for uniformity or for whatever the reason alright so for instance here weamp;#39;re going to be looking at this column column F where we have sex as male and female and weamp;#39;re going to be replacing it with men and women alright so we donamp;#39;t need to have a the cell or the column highlighted somewhere in this document weamp;#39;re going to be replacing every word that says men oh sorry everywhere that says male with men and every word that says female with women so weamp;#39;ll go up to find and select go down to replace and weamp;#39;re just going to type into

Open find and replace To use find and replace, open the sheet that you want to work in and press Ctrl + F (Windows) or Cmd + F (Mac) to open the find and replace window. You can select multiple columns, rows, or cells before using the keyboard shortcut to find and replace values in only that portion of the sheet.
Navigate to your selected program in Control Center, select Manage Program Global Updates Find/Replace. Name your update and select the blueprint and template to update. Enter your Find and Replace with values, and then select the columns you would like to update from the In these columns dropdown.
