well its that time of year again were all out cutting grass and trimming weeds does your string trimmer have enough string to get you through the season let me show you how to replace that its really simple most string trimmers have a bump style head its where you bump the head on the ground and it advances the string well after a season or so depending on how much you use your trimmer that string gets wore out and gets used up and its time to replace it its really easy to do the cap on my trimmer screws on you just unscrew that and pull the head out youre going to need to get some new line that is the proper size for your trimmer usually it comes in a roll or a spool this is the line that I have the packaging has gotten lost so Ive just got a little zip tie on there to keep it from getting all knotted up so pull you off about ten or twelve feet so I got a piece here thats about twelve feet doesnt have to be exact your trimmer may take more or less my arm span is just under
