hello this is Matthias today I want to explain this difficult xlbi challenge where we do have to replace characters from a string either with the character itself if the character is a vowel or with the immediately proceeding vowel if the character is not a vowel well this little kitty over here looks as if it needs some explanations and hopefully it brings me some luck with my endeavor we do have 26 letters Ill start here with entering an a and bring this down to row 26. and five of these letters are vowels now if we go over here and take Excel as an example string then we take the first letter e come over here check whether its a vowel yes or no yes theres a vowel so we we replace e with itself then we go here and take the X check whether the axis of our no its not so we have to go up to the immediately proceeding vowel the U and we replace the X with the U then we go to the third letter the C its here is not a vowel so we have to go up to the immediately proceeding vowel the a
