Select your chart and on the Chart Design tab, choose Select Data. Choose on the legend name you want to change in the Select Data Source dialog box, and select Edit. Note: You can update Legend Entries and Axis Label names from this view, and multiple Edit options might be available.
You can do this using the bboxtoanchor argument. This argument takes a tuple of two or four numbers, which represent the coordinates for the legends new location. In this case, the first number in the tuple moves the legend along the x-axis, and the second number moves it along the y-axis.
Another way of changing the font size of a legend is by using the legend functions prop parameter. Using the prop parameter, we specified a font size of 20: prop = { size: 20 } .
legend() in Python. The attribute Loc in legend() is used to specify the location of the legend. The default value of loc is loc= best (upper left). The strings upper left, upper right, lower left, and lower right place the legend at the corresponding corner of the axes/figure.
Key R functions to change ggplot legends: p + labs(). Change legend title. p + theme(). Change legend theme: background color, legend box border, font size and color. p + scalexdiscrete(limits = c(2, 0.5, 1)). p + scalefilldiscrete(name = Dose, labels = c(A, B, C)). guides().
To increase or decrease the font size of legends in a graph, use the fontsize parameter of the legend() method. The value of the fontsize can be: xx-small.
The legend title is automatically set, and can be overrided with the labels keyword argument: import plotly.express as px df = px. data. tips() fig = px. import plotly.express as px df = px. data. tips() fig = px. In [7]: import plotly.express as px df = px. data.
Python has a function called legend() which is used to place a legend on the axis. The legend function has an attribute called loc which is used to denote the location of the legend. The default value of attribute loc is upper left. Other string, such as upper right, lower left, lower right can also be used.
