Welcome back to another tutorial. Today Im going to show you how to replace a paper roll and a ribbon cartridge in your Epson TM-U220 Point-of-Sale printer. Now, this is an impact printer or a dot matrix printer, so you dont want to use thermal paper in this printer. Youre going to want to use bond paper rolls or carbonless paper rolls. So once you make sure youve got the right paper, what youre going to want to do is press this button to open up the back hatch and now you can open up the front hatch just by pulling up. And to place in the roll, you want to make sure that you have it with the paper feeding under and not over. So once youve got it placed the right way, drop it in, pull out some paper, close it and tear off the excess. Now, the type of ribbon that youll need is the ERC-38, which I have right here.
