The reversal is allowed after the refund on the credit memo is cancelled or the credit memo is fully unapplied. You cannot reverse a credit memo if the corresponding accounting period has been closed or the credit memo has been transferred to accounting.
To fix an error on a posted credit note, create a debit note of equal value and allocate it to each of the original credit notes lines. The allocation reduces the erroneous credit notes balance to zero. You can then create and post a credit note with the correct values.
