Answer: Go to Report > Section Expert. Highlight the Report Header section. Click the X+2 button across from the Suppress (No Drill-Down) checkbox. Enter a formula similar to the following: isNull({Field_Name}) ... Click Save and Close. Click OK. Refresh the report.
3 Answers Go to Group Expert. Click on 'options' button. Select the 'options' tab. Check on 'Repeat group header on each page'
Resolution In Crystal Reports, open your report. Create a new formula, called: New Header, and enter the following code: ... Save and close the formula. Under the menu "Insert", select "Group..." In "Insert Group", select in the first drop-down list the formula: "New Header", and click "OK"
Right click on that group header -> change group and check marked checkbox (in picture below). That should do it. EDIT : you are right, report header and report footer show only once per report, but for your problem you can use page header and page footer which repeat on each page.
One way to do that: Open the section expert for the group header option, open the formula editor for the option "Suppress", put the formula: {#RTotal0} = 1 . It means that the group header will suppress initialy, but after a page break, it will show (if you the group is set to print the group header for each page).
When data for a single record appears on multiple pages and you want to repeat columns to identify the data on subsequent pages, place the identifying fields in the page header or in a section header. If you place them in a section header, modify the header properties and set "Repeat Section" to "Yes."
How to insert a page break in a Crystal report Go to Report > Section Expert. Highlight the Group Footer section for the group that needs to have the page break. Mark the New Page After checkbox. Click OK. Refresh the report.
To add a page header or footer On the design surface, right-click the report, point to Insert, and then click Header or Footer.
To do this, open your report in design view. Make sure that your Page Header section is visible by selecting Page Header/Footer under the View menu. Next, drag the fields from the Report Header section down to the Page Header section. Now your title should appear on all pages of your Access report.
Access normally prints report page headers on every page in a report, including the first and last. In report Design view, click Page Header/Footer under Show/Hide on the Arrange tab to display the page header and page footer sections. Note: When forms are printed, page headers are always printed on all pages.
