You can have people go in and fill out a form, but they wont be able to edit the questions or the structure of the form. You can use things like check boxes, text fields, drop down lists, date pickers, to build your form. Once someones finished completing your form, they can e-mail it back, they could print it out, or you could even connect it to a database. Connecting to a database is outside of the scope of todays tutorial. Its kind of like an docHub PDF form, but its Microsofts version of it. In the Customer dropdown, select the customer. In the Outstanding Transactions section, select the open invoice you want to apply the credit memo to. In the Credits section, select the credit memos you want to apply. For the open invoice in the Payment column, enter how much of the credit you want to apply.
A credit memo is a document which shows the amount that is due to a customer for a full or partial refund. The amount can be applied towards another order, or refunded to the customer after the original purchase.
Heres how: Go to the Gear Icon. Choose Custom Form Styles. Click the New Style drop-down arrow. Select the Import style option. From the Import form style window, click the Paper Clip icon. Search for your Customised invoice template. Map the fields of your invoice template with the QuickBooks fields. Click Next.

Edit a credit memo Select Customers in the navigation menu. Select the customer name the credit memo belongs to. Select More actions. Select Credit memos. Select the credit memo ref # Select the Edit icon. Edit the credit memo. Select Save.
