Log into your account on the SAM homepage. Once logged in, select Entity Registrations from the My SAM sub-navigation menu to create, update, renew, or deactivate your entity registration.
It is highly recommended that businesses renew their SAM registration at least two months prior to their expiration date. In fact, if a business loses registration during ongoing contract work, the government is no longer authorized to work with that business. This could drastically affect a business well-being.
The CAGE/NCAGE Code and the Unique Entity ID The CAGE code will still be used and available on SAM.gov registration records. The change to the Unique Entity ID (SAM) does not impact the CAGE/NCAGE code.

SAM.gov uses an entity validation service (EVS) to independently verify the existence and uniqueness of an entity. ● Validation is required when you. ○ register an entity. ○ renew your entity registration each year.
