In July 2020, all new tenancies required an EICR. As of 1st April 2021, this requirement applies to all tenancies new and existing.
Inspection Records The landlord must receive and keep a copy of the EICR and PAT report for six years. A copy of the most recent EICR and PAT report must be given to a person who is to become a tenant before a tenancy starts.
