You can use find and replace (Ctrl + Shift + H or on the Home Ribbon, click on the Find Select button under editing). Once the form pops open, select Look In Formulas and then type in the Find what and Replace with values. e.g. Sales and NewSales. You can choose to replace just the one found or replace all.
Select Cells: Choose the range of cells where you need to replace text or numbers. To work across the whole worksheet, simply click any cell. Open Replace Dialog: Use the shortcut Ctrl + H. Or, go to the Home tab, click on Editing, then Find Select, and select Replace.
How to use Replace in Excel Select the range of cells where you want to replace text or numbers. Press the Ctrl + H shortcut to open the Replace tab of the Excel Find and Replace dialog. In the Find what box type the value to search for, and in the Replace with box type the value to replace with.
Excel displays formula rather than result Select the cell. Format the cell as General. (Right-click the cell, select Format Cells, and choose General.) Delete the = at the beginning of your formula, and hit Enter. Insert the = back in the formula at the beginning.

The REPLACE function in Excel replaces part of a text string with a different text string, useful for modifying variable text data. Its syntax is =REPLACE(oldtext, startnum, numchars, newtext). The function is particularly helpful in financial analysis to clean and adjust text data.
