Hi, this is Gary with MacMost.com. Let me show you how to use the Change Tracking features in Pages. Iamp;#39;m using Pages version 5.0 and weamp;#39;re going to look at Change Tracking. Say you have a document and youamp;#39;re the editor for the document. So the author gives you this document and you want to not make changes but actually mark it up so the author can decide what exactly to change, or accept, or maybe read your comments. You want to turn on Change Tracking. You do that under Edit/Track Changes. Once it is on you get an extra toolbar at the top with some controls. So basically there is a bunch of things you can do now to make changes and they will be recorded. One of the most basic things you can do is to Delete something. You select some text and hit Delete. Notice how the text remains there but it shows a line through it and changes color. If you rollover it you can actually see what the change was. Deleted this word and you can Accept of Reject it right here on th

You can undo recent changes you make to a document, then redo them if you change your mind. Do any of the following: Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
Click the pop-up menu to the left of the top text field, then choose Find Replace. Enter a word or phrase in the top text field. As you enter text, the number of matches appears alongside it. The first match you can edit is highlighted in yellow.
On Mac: Select Edit Find Find.. from the main menu, or use the associated ⌘-F keyboard shortcut. Or, use the keyboard shortcut ⌘-F on an external keyboard.
Find and replace text in Pages on iPhone Tap. , then tap Find. Enter a word or phrase in the search field. Matches are highlighted as you enter text. To restrict search results to either whole words or words that match the capitalization you specify, tap. , then choose either Whole Words or Match Case (or both). Tap or.
To redo something youve undone, press Ctrl+Y or F4. (If F4 doesnt seem to work, you may need to press the F-Lock key or Fn Key, then F4) on your keyboard, or select Redo on the Quick Access toolbar. (The Redo button only appears after youve undone an action.)
With the current version of your document open, choose File Revert To Browse All Versions (from the File menu at the top of your screen). The timeline for the document opens. The current version appears in the window on the left. Earlier versions appear in the window on the right.
If you are accessing Pages via the iCloud website in a web browser, you can undo by pressing Ctrl + Z on Windows, or Command + Z on Mac. This will undo any recent changes you have made. If you want to undo further changes, you can press Ctrl + Z or Command + Z multiple times.
Tap multiple times to undo all your recent actions. You can also use a three-finger swipe to the left to undo an action. Redo the last action: Touch and hold. , then tap Redo.
