Change or delete a dropdown list In Google Sheets, open a spreadsheet. Select the cell or cells you want to change, then select an option: Click Data. Edit the dropdown list: To change the options listed, edit the items under Criteria. Click Done.
To add a drop-down list to a Word document, go to Options Customize Ribbon and enable the Developer tab. Open the Developer tab and click the Drop-Down List Content Control button to insert a drop-down button. You can customize the drop-down box by clicking Properties.
Under Insert controls, click Drop-Down List Box. Click Add. In the Value box, type the text that you want to store if a user selects this entry. In the Display name box, type the text that you want to display for this entry, and then click OK. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each entry that you want to add to the list box.
Go to Admin - Issues - Resolutions and amend the list.
How to edit drop down list in Excel Select the cell(s) containing the drop-down list. On the Data tab, in the Data Tools group, click Data Validation. This will open the Data Validation dialog box. In the Source box, change, add or remove comma-separated items. Click OK to save the changes.
Adjust the Combo Box Properties On the Ribbon, click the Developer tab. Click the Design Mode command. Click the Properties command. In the Properties window, select TempCombo from the drop down list. Adjust the properties that you want to change.
Use setText and enter the dropDown ID as the first parameter. Then make sure the second parameter matches the original first option. If it doesnt match the original first option, it will be reset to BLANK and then the previous options will be hidden underneath the BLANK option.
On the worksheet where you applied the drop-down list, select a cell that has the drop-down list. Go to Data Data Validation. On the Settings tab, click in the Source box, and then change your list items as needed.
Go to Data Data Tools Data Validation. In the Data Validation dialogue box, within the settings tab, select List as Validation Criteria. In Source field, select the cells which have the items that you want in the drop down. Click OK.
