hey guys welcome back to my channel mi tutorials uh in this particular tutorial i just imported a sample excel file which i have here with three columns job type due date and duration as you can see here my due date column is formatted into the date format but when i imported the data into the power bi bi is considering this particular due date column as a text right how do we know that it is in text when i go to the column tools and here when i select the due date it is telling me that this is in the text format now how do we fix this right because see right now here its giving me yeah in these numbers the format is in these numbers however this is a date format right to fix this we need to click on these three ellipses against the table that we imported and then click on edit query so that we get into the power query editor right and from here you need to go to the transform tab and select the column that you want to fix in this case it is the due date column over here and then we
