With Power Query, you can replace one value with another value wherever that value is found in a column. The Replace values command can be found: On the cell shortcut menu. Right-click the cell to replace the selected value in the column with another value.
To replace rows that have errors, first select the column that contains errors. On the Transform tab, in the Any column group, select Replace values. From the drop-down menu, select Replace errors. In the Replace errors dialog box, enter the value 10 because you want to replace all errors with the value 10.
Using Replace Values In Power Query When inside the power query editor, we can perform a Replace Values step from either the Transform tab or the Right Click menu. Select the column which we want to replace values in and go to the Transform tab and press the Replace Values command.
In either Tables or Diagram pane, right-click the table or named query that you wish to replace, point to Replace Table and then click With Other Table.
Open Transform Data /edit query mode. Right click on table and open advace editor. Carefully replace the script with the new table script so that the table name remains same. Keep a backup of file.
Replace text values To open a query, locate one previously loaded from the Power Query Editor, select a cell in the data, and then select Query Edit. Select a column with a text data type. Select Home or Transform Replace Value. In the Value To Find box, enter the value to search.
A copy of an existing table can be created using a combination of the CREATE TABLE statement and the SELECT statement. The new table has the same column definitions. All columns or specific columns can be selected.
