Open Microsoft Word on your Mac. Click or hover over the Edit tab found in the top toolbar. Click or hover over Find from the dropdown menu. Click Replace or hold shift + command + H on your keyboard.
You might need to search a PDF in order to make quick edits. The Find and Replace tool can help: Press Command+F. Select the Replace With option.
Replace found text Click. Click pop-up menu to the left of the search field, then choose Find Replace. Enter a word or phrase in the first field. Enter the replacement word or phrase in the second field. Use the buttons at the bottom of the Find Replace window to review and change the text matches:

Replace the found text with new text: Select the Replace checkbox next to the Done button, enter the new text in the second field (right under the search field), then click Replace. To replace all instances of the found text with the new text, click All.
Create text replacements On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Keyboard in the sidebar. Click Text Replacements on the right. Click the Add button in the dialog that appears, type the text to replace (such as teh) and its replacement (such as the), then click Add. Click Done.
Find and replace text in a TextEdit document. In the TextEdit app on your Mac, choose Edit Find Find, then type text in the search field. You can also select text, then choose Edit Find Use Selection for Find.
Android Oreo Text Replacement Scroll down to the Languages and Input menu, and press it. Type a word or phrase into the top section. This word or phrase will be the desired output from the shortcut. Next, in the bottom Optional Shortcut section, type what you would like to input to get the previously typed output.
