if youre going to replace windows the first thing youre going to want to know is the size of the window that you need to replace so I have single pane aluminum windows from the original construction of the house built in 1978 and Im going to take it out so I can get good measurements and to do that Im just going to remove these screws I have well its kind of hard to see here but I have a Phillips head screw here another one up in the header up here another one over here there and then two over on this side and two over on that side there should not be any down here in the bottom track if there are thats a problem but you shouldnt put any in the bottom track because that could cause water intrusion problems anyway so Im gonna take those screws out and see if we can get the window out okay Ive got the screws out there was about eight screws total and look there it is these are the screws that we rolled in the window in which are theyre probably only 3/4 inch screws they only go
