The first step in finding and replacing text in comments is to open the Find and Replace dialog box. You can do this by pressing the Ctrl + H keys on your keyboard, or by clicking on the Find Select button in the Editing group on the Home tab, and then selecting Replace from the drop-down menu.
Notes are for making notes or annotations about the data, and work like comments used to work in earlier versions of Excel. Comments have a Reply box.
