this is true well you know we havent built anything here recently so I thought tonight we would look at one of my fun recent projects I did back in December that involved an Arduino color LCD screen and ham radio this is a first HF rig that I ever owned its a yaesu 850 7d and I used it for several years and it worked fine eventually though upgraded to other rigs and this one set on the shelf for several years I decided that I would put it in the pickup truck that I own its kind of a extra vehicle I dont drive that much and I thought it might as well put an HF rig in there Ive got it and I did unfortunately after a couple of years it developed a little problem and I understand this is common to these rigs you see the lines in the display there well thats not very good it makes it difficult to read the frequencies and other information on there and the Astra meter is at s7 or is that s3 that were looking at there well its kind of hard to tell isnt it my friend Wayne kg5 Ari has
