so I purchased this 18 degree callaway utility iron I did it so I could use it as a driving iron just in case my driver wasnt working out for me but it came with a project X 6.0 shaft which is probably too stiff for me doesnt work out as well as I want it to so I went ahead and purchased a True Temper R 302 iron length shaft to replace it with and it ended up being like 14 or 15 bucks for just the shaft itself you do have to buy the furrow which I think was a couple bucks and then you have to buy the actual the glue itself or the epoxy so you can really the club head in I did have a few tools laying around that I could allow me to do this so if you dont have the tools laying around youll have to buy them as well so it mean it kind of ruins the fun out of actually doing this yourself unless youre gonna do multiple ones but some of these tools are good to have around anyways so Im go ahead and show you the tools that youll need to start this project so you have the shaft itself yo

How to calculate your golf handicap: First step, grab a calculator. Then do this. You can find your golf handicap by taking the average score of the best eight of your last 20 scores. Use this equation to calculate your handicap for any course: Course Handicap = [Handicap Index * (SR / 113)] + (CR- Par)
Under WHS, the way in which a handicap is calculated will change slightly, and golfers will receive a new Handicap Index. A Handicap Index is designed to represent your demonstrated ability. It is calculated by averaging the best 8 score differentials out of the most recent 20 within your scoring record.
A Course Handicap is the number of strokes a player receives on each particular course. Determine a course handicap by multiplying the Handicap Index by the Slope Rating (from the course and tee you choose) and dividing by 113 (standard difficulty rating).
Therefore, the new formula for playing handicaps is the course handicap X handicap allowance. This new change introduces two new rules for handicapping that are: you will be allowed to use course handicaps to adjust your scores, and secondly, playing handicaps will be used for net competition purposes.
The formula for your Handicap Index is the sum of your differentials divided by the number of differentials, multiplied by 0.96, or (Sum of Differentials / Number of Differentials) x 0.96.
Simple Handicap was made for the common golfer that wants to learn and track their handicap index without paying for any services. It will also calculate course handicaps. Simple Handicap is free and very easy to use. Enter your favorite courses and add rounds as you go!
The lower the number, the better the golfer. For example, if you typically shoot around 90 on par 72 golf courses, your golf handicap would be around 18.
The handicap index is an average of golf round scores and has its own calculation. This formula requires you to sum your differentials and divide these by the number of differentials used, and then multiply the result by 0.96.
