so periodically i see that restaurant groups have applications in their restaurants or a link to an online application that asks the candidate for their date of birth or their social security number and you really shouldnt have those things listed on the application so i would check your applications and make sure you dont have those listed and if you do i would remove them right away also there is a law called ban the box and this law essentially doesnt allow employers to ask the candidate to check a box saying whether or not theyve been convicted of a crime theres a whole lot of states and cities across the country that require that you remove this box im going to add a link to this video and you should check your state and see if the law is in effect and if it is i would remove that immediately from the application as well thank you

ii) Replacement Cost Approach This method is used to determine whether to keep working or replace the worker. It considers the cost of replacing the human resource or employee. This method also helps in determining whether the appointment of employees is beneficial to the organization or not.
To calculate your cost per hire: Add up both your external costs and internal costs on all new hires in a given period. Then, divide the resulting number by the total number of hires in that same period.
The rate is calculated by taking the number of adults in the labor force, divided by the total adult population and multiplying by 100 to get the percentage.
In other words, it is the percentage of the population that is currently working. The employment-population ratio is calculated as: (Employed Civilian Noninstitutional Population) x 100.
Research by SHRM suggests that replacement costs can be as high as 50%-60% with overall costs ranging anywhere from 90%-200%. Example: If an employee makes $60,000 per year then it costs an average of $30,000 - $45,000 just to replace that employee and roughly $54,000 - $120,000 in overall losses to the company.
The employment coefficient is calculated by dividing the percentage change in formal employment by the real GDP growth rate. The change in formal employment is 8,71%, and the real GDP growth rate is 10%. This gives us an employment coefficient of 0,97.
In simple terms, the unemployment rate for any area is the number of area residents without a job and looking for work divided by the total number of area residents in the labor force.
The unemployment rate formula is unemployment rate = (Number of unemployed individuals /sums of employed and unemployed individuals) x 100%. Example-Assuming the number of unemployed people is 500 and those employed are 3000, the unemployment rate will be: 500/3500 x 100% =14.29%.
