so I purchased this 18 degree callaway utility iron I did it so I could use it as a driving iron just in case my driver wasnt working out for me but it came with a project X 6.0 shaft which is probably too stiff for me doesnt work out as well as I want it to so I went ahead and purchased a True Temper R 302 iron length shaft to replace it with and it ended up being like 14 or 15 bucks for just the shaft itself you do have to buy the furrow which I think was a couple bucks and then you have to buy the actual the glue itself or the epoxy so you can really the club head in I did have a few tools laying around that I could allow me to do this so if you dont have the tools laying around youll have to buy them as well so it mean it kind of ruins the fun out of actually doing this yourself unless youre gonna do multiple ones but some of these tools are good to have around anyways so Im go ahead and show you the tools that youll need to start this project so you have the shaft itself yo

Simple Handicap was made for the common golfer that wants to learn and track their handicap index without paying for any services. It will also calculate course handicaps. Simple Handicap is free and very easy to use. Enter your favorite courses and add rounds as you go!
A Course Handicap is the number of strokes a player receives on each particular course. Determine a course handicap by multiplying the Handicap Index by the Slope Rating (from the course and tee you choose) and dividing by 113 (standard difficulty rating).
How to calculate your golf handicap: First step, grab a calculator. Then do this. You can find your golf handicap by taking the average score of the best eight of your last 20 scores. Use this equation to calculate your handicap for any course: Course Handicap = [Handicap Index * (SR / 113)] + (CR- Par)
How do I calculate my Course Handicap and Playing Handicap? This number is rounded to the nearest whole number when applying net double bogey or net par adjustments. Otherwise, the unrounded result is retained and used to calculate a Playing Handicap. Playing Handicap = Course Handicap x handicap allowance.
Your Handicap Index is a portable number that represents your demonstrated ability - but when it comes time to tee it up, that number is converted to a Course Handicap, which accounts for the difficulty of the course and tees played.
If the golfers Handicap Index is 11.2 find that number in the range 10.9 to 11.7, which means the course handicap, would be a 13. If the Handicap Index were 16.3, you would find the number in the range 16.1 to 16.9 and would play to a 19 handicap from that set of tees.
The handicap index is an average of golf round scores and has its own calculation. This formula requires you to sum your differentials and divide these by the number of differentials used, and then multiply the result by 0.96.
Calculating Your Course Handicap Take your Handicap Index, multiply it by the Slope Rating of the tees played, then divide by 113 (this is the average Slope Rating). The answer will be your Course Handicap (round to the nearest whole number: . 4 rounds down, . 5 rounds up).
