On the Analyze tab, in the Calculations group, click Fields, Items, Sets, and then click Calculated Field. In the Name box, type a name for the field. In the Formula box, enter the formula for the field. To use the data from another field in the formula, click the field in the Fields box, and then click Insert Field.
To create a computed field: Open a form in the Form Builder. Click an existing question and use the Options button to open the editing sidebar. Expand the Calculations tab. Check the box for This is a calculated field. Enter an equation into the Formula text field.
Overview. This feature allows you to utilize form data the way you do in Excel. You can create an auto-calculated field that refers to another field with a formula. Each calculated field will be instantly updated based on the entered expression.

Creating a Calculated Field Navigate to the Mode home page and sign in to your Workspace. Click the green + to create a new report in the upper righthand corner. Run a SQL query. (It can be as simple as SELECT * FROM table.) Create a new chart. Click the New field button to open the Calculated field formula editor.
