hey guys thank you for joining me for this video here Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to migrate from the Legacy multifactor authentication and Self Service passw reset policies to the new unified or converged authentication methods policy in entra ID letamp;#39;s get started so first question is why are we doing this well Microsoft announced in September last year that system admins will need to migrate the MFA and SSP policies into one new unified policy in a directory which is now called entra ID the original uh deadline was September 30th 2024 however since the announcement Microsoft has extended the deadline to September 30th 2025 so there are a few steps to get this done first step is to take account or review or audit your current MFA in sspr policies we simply need to go to enter ID click all users then click per user MFA once you do that youamp;#39;ll come to this page then on top here click service settings the first step is for us to just take a screenshot of the current
