hey hi everyone this is admin from admin 365 and today we are going to talk about how we should assign a license to our office 365 user in order to prevent any data losses so lets get started so whenever we wish to change the license of a user account or upgrade a license or downgrade a subscription for a user uh we will have to make sure that we do it pretty neatly and carefully because if we dont perform it correctly that could be data loss and when i say data loss the entire mailbox would get deleted in this process so for us to do it properly so let me just show you the best way in order to change a subscription of a user account so i will go into the admin center so for uh example this admin user which we see here for now uh we have the subscription on this account as e5 developer which basically have exchange online plan 2 license assigned to it and uh if i have or if i want to downgrade it to a subscription which has exchange online plan one i will have to do it very carefully

We allow customers to mix and match storage plans: Google Workspace.
Any users you create must be under the same plan for a given domain. This means you cannot have some users on the Business Starter plan and some users on the Business Standard plan for the same domain. However, you can have different plans for different domains.
Sign in to Control Hub and go to Users. Select a user and go to Profile Licenses Edit Licenses. Click Edit Licenses. Choose a service from the list.
A user can have a license for more than one service. Multiple users cant share a single Google Workspace license, even if they dont use all of the tools.
