To change placeholder text in a Google Form: Select an answer text box field -- Click on the Text Answer Field Placeholder button from the top buttons bar -- Add new Placeholder text -- Click the Update button.
Google Forms does not version history like Google Docs or Sheets. When you delete responses in Google Forms, it will be deleted permanently. Deleted responses cannot be restored later.
In the bottom left of the question, click Answer key. Choose the answer or answers that are correct.
Replace Text Click Edit on the menu bar. Select Find and replace. Enter a search phrase in the Find field. Enter a replacement phrase in the Replace with field. (Optional) Select additional search options. Select a replacement option: Replace: Replaces the first instance of the word. Click the Close button.
How to edit responses in Google forms Step 1: Open Your Google Forms. Start by opening the Google Form for which you want to edit responses. Step 2: Access the Responses Tab. Step 3: Click on the Spreadsheet Icon. Step 4: Edit Responses in Google Sheets. Step 5: Return to Google Forms.
Form owners or collaborators can enable the edit after submit option in Google Forms to allow form respondents to edit the response they have submitted. When this option is enabled, an edit link will be included in the confirmation message shown after submit and the response receipt sent to their email.
Use find and replace in a document On your Android phone or tablet, open a document in the Google Docs app. Tap More. Find and replace. Type the word you want to find. Tap Search . To see every time the word is used, in the top right, tap the arrows. Replace a single word: Tap More. To return to the document, tap Done .
