hello im chris menard in todays microsoft word video im going to show you how to easily move pages around in your document so ive got three items to cover lets go ahead and dive into this video [Music] so item number one that id like to cover is what people ask me all the time that they think should work but it doesnt so here it is up on the view tab turn on the navigation pane under the show group and heres pages it is a word file it is not acrobat or docHub so you cant just drag and drop pages around that is what will not work just to cover that one but what does work i dont know if you caught my video recently on how to use style headings in word but just a quick review im not going to go all the way through here ive got different states listed florida georgia within each state we have counties and then within each county you have cities so theres a drill down so florida is a state so its a heading one miami-dade county is a heading two and then under that coun

How to Rearrange Pages in Word on an Android Place your cursor at the beginning of the text youd like to move with a long-tap on your screen. Next, select all of the text youd like to move elsewhere in the document by tapping and dragging the bounding handles until youve selected all of the text.
On the page sorter, right-click the page number that you want to move, and then click Move Page on the shortcut menu. In the Move Page dialog box, select the options that you want, and then click OK.
Go to Header Footer Page Number, and then click Page Number. Choose the position and alignment of page numbers.
Select Insert Page Number, and then choose the location and style you want. If you dont want a page number to appear on the first page, select Different First Page. If you want numbering to start with 1 on the second page, go to Page Number Format Page Numbers, and set Start at to 0.
You can also change page order in Word using the Clipboard history. Select the page that you want to move, highlight the text and choose cut. Click the Windows key + V, which will open your Clipboard history. Select the page and paste it to the new location.
Click a page thumbnail (in a page layout document) or section (in a word-processing document) to select it, then drag it to a new location (in the sidebar).
How to Switch Page Order in Word With Your Mouse. Place your cursor at the beginning of the text on the page you want to move. Hold the left mouse button while you drag through all of the text on the page, then release.
Tip: If you want your second page to start at 1 rather than 2, go to Insert Page Number Format Page Numbers, and set Start at under Page Numbering to 0, rather than 1.
