In this Microsoft Word tutorial, Chris Menard explains how to effectively move pages within a document. He begins by addressing a common misconception: users expect to drag and drop pages when using the navigation pane, which is not possible in Word. Instead, Chris suggests using the Styles feature, specifically headings, to organize content hierarchically. For example, he illustrates this with states (Heading 1), counties (Heading 2), and cities (Heading 3), allowing for an organized structure that facilitates easy navigation and movement of sections within the document. This method enhances document management without relying on drag-and-drop functionality.
