A teenager, 19-year-old Taylor Smith, was sentenced to two days in jail for pushing her friend, Jordan Holgersson, off a 60-foot bridge in Washington State. The incident, which occurred last August, resulted in Jordan suffering severe injuries, including six broken ribs and punctured lungs. Despite a plea deal that prosecutors believed would keep Taylor out of jail, the judge decided against it, surprising both sides. Taylor pled guilty to reckless endangerment and expressed remorse during the sentencing. After her sentencing, Jordan stated she is ready to move on, acknowledging the emotional impact on both of them. Additionally, Taylor was ordered to spend time in community service.
