here I have a document the two other colleagues have reviewed for me Ive walked through the document and accepted or rejected the tracked changes and now I want to publish this document I can open up the reviewing pane just to make sure that I have no more remaining revisions another great way to make sure that you dont have any hidden comments or changes is to inspect the document go to the file tab click check for issues and select inspect document here I can choose to check for comments revisions versions and annotations Ill just remove the other check boxes and click inspect here I can see that no items were found so I can be sure that there are no hidden revisions here so now my document is ready for publishing

What if track changes isnt available? If a document is protected, you might not have the option to turn off track changes or turn it on so you can make some edits. If this happens, you might be able to get the option back by turning off document protection.
On the Review tab, in the Comments group, click the arrow below Delete, then click Delete All Comments in Document. To use Document Inspector to find remaining tracked changes, comments, and other information you may not want to share, on the Review tab, click Check for Issues, then Inspect Document.

Turn off Track Changes On the Review tab, select Track Changes. In the Track Changes drop-down list, select Off.
That arrow appears because the style for that text is set to either Heading 1, Heading 2, etc. Clicking the arrow allows you to expand or collapse texts under that heading. To remove it, you must change the style to Normal or another style that is not for headings.
Click Replace or press shortcut key Ctrl + H. A dialog box appears, enter ^p^p in the Find what box, and enter ^p in the Replace with box. Lastly, click Replace all.
Delete entire word Open the document in Microsoft Word or another word processor. Move the mouse cursor to the beginning of the word you want to delete. Press and hold the left mouse button, then drag the mouse to the right until the entire word is highlighted. Press Backspace or Delete to delete the word.
