hey guys in todays video were going to show you how to delete an invoice first click on sales then click on invoices now scroll down to the invoice you wish to delete you see here that I have two invoices for Jordan burges for the same amount this second one actually sent by accident so Im going to go ahead and delete it click on the invoice then then click on more click delete and click yes to confirm your deletion and congratulations your invoice has now been deleted

Void or delete a transaction Find the transaction. In the Action column, select the small arrow ▼ icon and then select Void or Delete. Select Void/Yes or Delete/No to confirm. The other way to void a transaction is, go to the required transaction.
From your computers Dashboard, click on Account Settings, then Business, then Receipt. Scroll down the the Receipt Information section, and you can delete your address there. It will no longer show up on the receipt. I did that and went and turned off show location.
Step-by-Step Guide on How to Delete a Sales Receipt in QuickBooks Step 1: Open the Sales Receipt. Step 2: Locate the Sales Receipt to be Deleted. Step 3: Click on the Sales Receipt to Open it. If you void a transaction, the record of it remains in QuickBooks but it wont affect your books. If you delete a transaction, its entirely removed from your books and wont appear in any reports or accounts.
How to delete an invoice Go to Get paid pay and select Invoices (Take me there). Find and select the invoice you wish to delete. On the Invoice page, select More at the bottom then Delete. Select Yes to confirm.
Voiding an invoice will keep the invoice number and list it in reports but changes the amounts to zero. Hence, if you want to stop a particular payment from being realized by QuickBooks, select void. For removing the receipt from QuickBooks, select delete.
Voiding an invoice cancels the invoice without deleting it, thereby preserving historical information for any future audits. When you void an invoice, any settled payments will be removed, and the corresponding payment will be unsettled.
Go to Sales, then select Invoices (Take me there). Find the invoice(s) you wish to void. From the Action column ▼ dropdown menu, select Void.
