As a Medicare Administrative Contractor or MAC, who process claims, we will request documentation from our providers. We may request documentation pre or post pay. The best way to ensure we receive the documentation is to upload it to our website secure portal. Thats what this video will cover. Before we explore the steps for uploading documentation, I want to give you a few reminders. This section is for when WPS Medical Review requests documentation. It is not used for any other contractor, when filing a first level appeal, or a prior authorization request. Other contractors have their own websites.
