okay so this barn roof fell down on me but a lot of the tin is still good so I went and did a search on the internet to find out how you could take these panels off without wrecking the panels and it was a little confusing so I thought Id do a little video on her what I figured out theres two different schools of thought and the first is you take a horse foot clipper and put a couple of three foot handles on it this is just the old bar from an old weight set that I cut in half and put on there and you cut the nail heads with that well that worked really good I was able to get four panels off unfortunately it wrecked the cutting edge which is a bummer because this is really nice and flat it makes it easy to get under the nails so the other school of thought will take these off is a channellocks 10-inch nail nipper so Ill put those on there like so get real itll tap the handles on well see how well that works definitely cuts the nail heads easy actually its a little bit easier tha

You should be able to use sheets of sandpaper to sand away any brass plating that remains on the components in your home. Make sure that the sandpaper you choose has a grit of 220-400. Sanding a surface is simple and should be performed until the brass plating has been fully removed.

The correct answer is Oxygen. Tin has many uses. It takes a high polish and is used to coat other metals to prevent corrosion, such as in tin cans, which are made of tin-coated steel. The Tin is removed with the help of oxygen and it is reused after removing the coating of tin on the metal as oxygen added removes it.
Use a hot solution (70 C) of 2N sodium hydroxide. This will chemically dissolve the tin. However, if the tin plating has been heated, the tin will migrate into the copper to form an intermetallic.
To remove titanium nitride coatings from metal tooling and mold surfaces without damaging the underlying metal, it is desirable to clean the nitride coating. One way in which this may be done includes first cleaning the nitride coating with acetone followed by an isopropyl alcohol clean.
To play it safe, combine baking soda with water to form a paste and apply it to the rust; remove it carefully with a fine sandpaper or a cloth. White vinegar may also work. Either rub it onto the metal with a cloth or soak the item if it is smaller.
Tin can be removed from copper and copper alloys in a solution of sodium hydroxide (120 g/l ), room temp.
Removal of tin is conventionally effected on a batch basis by providing a pool of molten lead at about 500C, stirring in air and possibly also chlorine until sufficient oxidation has taken place, then allowing the pool to settle and removing a layer of dross from the surface.
The simplest way to strip tin from steel is to use 80 g/l sodium hydroxide at about 85 C. This is the way tin is commercially stripped from tinplate. Tin is an amphoteric metal and will dissolve in acid and alkali, but steel doesnt react with alkali, so you will have no problems here.
