hey everyone Mike Crowley here for Crowley insurance and Im excited to be here with you today why because its Tuesday its time for another tip Tuesday [Applause] so something happened yesterday that I wanted to bring to everybodys attention in case its not common knowledge and it has to do with your license plates your insurance and the DMV so what happens when you want to take off a vehicle off your insurance policy because a maybe you sold it bu it got totaled in an accident and now the insurance company has it or you gave it to your child and they insured it and registered in their own name well the answer is you need to turn in your license plates off of the vehicle that you had and was registered to you in order to remove that vehicle from your auto insurance policy we had somebody that was not a client of ours ask for ask some advice yesterday because they did the scenario where they gave the vehicle to their daughter and the daughter insured it and registered in her own nam
