You can tag transactions such as invoices, expenses and bills. Tags dont impact your books, theyre a simple way for you to track and report on the info that matters most to you. Lets go over how to create tags and tag groups, and how to add tags to money in and money out transactions like invoices and expenses. Finally, well look at how to run reports on tags to see how youre making and spending money. To start, select Settings and Tags. Remove logos Go to Settings ⚙. Under Your Company, select Custom form styles. Find the template you want to edit, then select Edit under the Action column. Go to the Design tab, then select Make logo edits. Select Hide logo, then Done.
Go to Settings ⚙ and select Tags (Take me there). Find the tag or tag group you want to edit. Under the Action column, select the Run report ▼ dropdown. Then select Edit tag or Edit group.
How do I turn off tags? Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings. Select Sales. In the Sales form content section, turn off Tags, then select Save. Select Expenses. In the Bills and expenses section, turn off the Show Tags field on expense and purchase forms, then select Save. Select Done.
Go to the Gear icon and select Tags. From the Tags tab, locate the incorrect tag you have added. Tap the dropdown arrow under the Action column and select Delete tag.
Tags are customisable labels that let you track your money however you want. When you put tags into groups, you get deeper insights into how your business is doing. Youll need groups to get reports for your tags.
From the main menu, select Settings. Click Your work info, then Edit your logo. Select Pick a file (alternatively, you can delete the existing logo). Upload the file and then click on Save.
Tip: You can also use the reclassify tool for your firms transactions in QuickBooks Online Accountant. When youre on your firms page, select Accountant Tools and Reclassify transactions.
