Removing a section does not remove the slides in that section. Select the section you want to remove. Click the Section button on the Home tab. Select Remove Section or Remove All Sections. Right-click the section name and select Remove Section.

Click and hold the correct layer for the picture you want to delete, and drag it to the top of the list. On the slide, click the picture to select it, and on your keyboard, press Delete.
Use the crop tools in PowerPoint to trim and remove unwanted portions of pictures, or to crop a picture to fit a shape. If you want to change the outline of a picture and make it a shape (like a circle or a star), use the cropping tools on the PICTURE TOOLS FORMAT tab.
