To remove styles using the Styles task pane, select the text from which you want to remove the style. Click the Styles launcher button in the Styles button group of the Home tab to launch the Styles pane. Then choose the Clear All choice from the list of styles shown in the Styles pane.
You can access these preset options through the Styles Gallery on the ribbons Home tab. To apply one of these preset options, first select the text that you want to format. Then, pick the style you want to apply and click it. Youll see that the text you selected will update to match the style you chose.
On the Home tab, right-click any style in the Styles gallery and click Modify. In the Formatting section, make any formatting changes you want, such as font style, size, or color, alignment, line spacing, or indentation. Choose whether the style change applies to the current document or to all future documents.
