Polished marble surfaces will typically etch when they come into contact with an acidic substance. Etch is a term that refers to an area where the finish has been removed leaving a dull spot. Most people when describing an etch mark will mistakenly refer to them as water spots. The kit provides the necessary products to remove most small spots from table tops and floor surfaces. However, if the surface hasnt been sealed prolonged contact from an acidic substance may etch deep into the finish and require a more extensive process to remove. To get started, place on the rubber gloves that were provided to you in your kit before getting started. You need a container of water and some paper towels.
